Privacy Policy

The WCI Grade Schedule (the “app”) at schedule.wcilewiston.com is an internal tool operated by Western Construction of Lewiston (“WCI”, “we”, “us”). It exists so our field crew can see the week’s grade schedule and so superintendents can publish it. It is not a consumer product, it is not open to the public, and there is no way to sign up for it from outside the company.

Who this applies to

This policy covers current employees of WCI who have been added to the company crew roster by a supervisor. Nobody else has an account, and nobody else receives messages from us through this app.

What we collect

• Name — so the schedule can show who is working which job.
• Mobile phone number — recorded on the company crew roster as an employment record. It is used to text you only if you opt in yourself in the app; nobody consents on your behalf.
• Email address — optional, used only as a sign-in credential for the app.
• Role — crew, manager, or administrator, which controls what you can see and edit.
• Work assignments — the jobs and days you are scheduled for.

We do not collect location data, device identifiers, contacts, photos, or any information about you outside of work. There is no analytics tracking and no advertising technology in the app.

How we use it

Your information is used for one purpose: running the weekly work schedule. That means displaying the schedule to you and your coworkers, letting superintendents assign and change work, and sending you a text message when a week’s schedule is published.

Text messages

Texts are opt-in. The first time you sign in to the app you are shown a checkbox, unchecked by default, asking whether you would like a text when the weekly schedule is posted. You receive messages only if you tick it yourself. That is the only way to opt in — there is no public sign-up, no web form, and a supervisor cannot opt you in. Messages arrive about once a week. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving them, or HELP for help.

Opting out of texts does not affect your access to the app or your employment.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it for anyone else’s marketing. We share it only with the service providers that make the app run:

• Supabase — hosts the database and handles sign-in.
• Vercel — serves the web page itself.
• Twilio — delivers the text messages.

Each of these processes data on our behalf in order to provide their service, and for no other purpose. We may also disclose information if we are legally required to.

How it is protected

Access requires a password and an active roster entry. The database enforces row-level security, so a signed-out or deactivated person cannot read anything at all. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Administrative permissions — changing roles or sign-in accounts — are restricted to super administrators and enforced by the database itself, not just by the interface.

How long we keep it

Roster entries are kept while you are employed and for a reasonable period afterward for record keeping. Published schedules are retained as a record of work performed. Text message logs are kept so we can confirm whether a notification actually reached you.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct your name, phone number, or email at any time, and you can ask to see what we hold about you. Reply STOP to any message to end texts. To have your roster entry deactivated, speak to your supervisor or contact us below.

Children

The app is for WCI employees and is not directed to anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the effective date above.
