Who we are

Western Construction of Lewiston is a heavy civil contractor based at 3900 Industrial Way in Lewiston, Idaho. We move earth, install the utilities underneath, crush the rock that goes back in, and put up the buildings that end up on top.

We are not a broker. The equipment is ours, the crews are on our payroll, and the person who prices your job works in the same building as the person who runs it. That is the difference people notice: when something changes on site — and something always changes — there is one company responsible for sorting it out.

How we work

We estimate in HeavyBid, which means our numbers are built from production rates and real costs rather than a percentage guess. When we hand you a price, we can tell you what is in it. If a job is going to cost more than you expect, you hear it from us at the quote stage rather than as a change order later.

We would also rather tell you not to do something than sell you the wrong scope. Talking a customer out of a $40,000 solution when a $9,000 one will hold is how we have stayed busy in a valley this size.

Where we work

Lewiston and Clarkston first, then the wider LC Valley, the Palouse, the Camas Prairie and the country in between — Lewiston and Clarkston, the Lewiston–Clarkston Valley, Moscow and Pullman, Asotin, Orofino, Kamiah, Grangeville, Genesee, Lapwai and the Camas Prairie. We are licensed and insured in Idaho, Washington, Oregon and Montana, and we go further for the right project.
